    While the program is only available for you to sign up through Iron Mountain, you have the option of a plan that covers everyone “under your roof and wallet.” This plan also includes senior family coverage for parents, in-laws, and grandparents over the age of 65.

  • When would my coverage start?

    Generally, coverage is effective on the first of the following month following your enrollment. Coverage for dependents and some features may require additional registration once your coverage is effective.

  • What if my employment status changes?

    Good news! If you leave or retiree from Iron Mountain, you can continue your coverage without interruption, subject to applicable law and the policy’s terms and conditions. Simply select to continue coverage through a retail account at special discounted rates. Although payroll deduction will no longer be available, you can opt for other payment methods such as bank account deduction or credit card payment.   • What if I already have a Norton LifeLock Benefit Plans account?

    If you are an existing member, in most cases we will automatically transition your existing membership to the new Norton LifeLock Benefit Plan through Iron Mountain.


    There are some circumstances that may require you to request termination of your current account before the new benefit membership can take effect, for example:

    • Members enrolled in a LifeLock retail plan with family members that they are not enrolling in the benefit offering. We do not auto-terminate members, leaving them without protection.
    • Members enrolled through a third party partner and not billed directly by Norton or LifeLock..
    • Members enrolled through a different LifeLock employee benefit plan, as the primary or dependent member.


    In order for you to complete your transition, please call Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions Member Services Team at 800-607-9174 close to your benefit effective date. Please mention to the representative that you would like to cancel your retail plan in order to enroll through Iron Mountain’s benefit program.

  • When I activate credit monitoring, will it impact my credit score?

    No, activating credit monitoring on your Norton LifeLock account is considered a soft inquiry, which does not impact your credit score, as it is informational only and not a credit application. This is different from a hard inquiry, which occurs when you apply for credit. A hard inquiry can impact your credit score.

  • What should I do if I think I have been a victim of identity theft?

    Please contact Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions member services team right away at 800-607-9174. Alternatively, you may contact them through the LifeLock Identity phone app, select ID Restoration and then ID Restoration Service to open a case.

    Not all identity theft protection plans are the same. Many provide basic credit monitoring and scores but lack the ability to help with restoration. Years ago, that may have been enough but not with the sophisticated criminals we face today.
